Wabi Sabi [Nihon-go: Japanese]

Upon seeing a huge rock on a rainy day...following my first tea ceremony, I learned a little about this concept. Most Japanese find it difficult to explain. It vaguely means dreary, lonely and beauty blended together. Many of the renowned film maker Andrei Tarkovsky films have this sense. We see it a lot in nature. This may help some:
